Okay, so this isn’t exactly an all new product. It is our T18. But we’ve built a version that features analog output, digital display, and superior background suppression performance. If you happen to be the person who needs such a product, contact us at: [email protected]
We have a new addition to our cordset / connector cable family. Our M8 connectors are now available with B-coding configuration. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.
We are introducing a new member to our analog sensor family: FCS1-3010G-I3U2. This is our very first analog sensor in the metal face housing. The full specifications are available here. Contact us at [email protected] for more information. Mike Lee, PhD.
We have a new cable – a UL approved, 24 AWG, 4 core silicone cable capable of enduring 150 degrees Celcius. Paired with the familiar and reliable Scan connectors, the result is a family of high performance cordsets for the toughest environments. Contact us at [email protected] for more information. 2020-06-16
Lately we have been seeing a lot of questionable practices in our industry. Not by some obscure sensor manufacturer, but rather large manufacturers who are regarded as leaders of our industry. Case in point, here is something we recently came across. Pictured here is NOT a Scan sensor, but a premium priced product from an industry leader. I understand it is a non-shielded sensor. But it is so not shielded that it could sense with pretty much its entire body. Sad to say we have seen a lot worse practices and this is only the tip of an iceberg. Again these are products from the leaders of our industry. We are proud to say that we are not among them. We are a family business with a very simple goal of making good sensors. Mike Lee, PhD.
One of our most reliable photoelectric sensors just got even better. Its new class 1 laser light source provides 80cm of SN in diffuse configuration, 40m in polarized retroreflective configuration, and 100m in thru-beam configuration. Contact us for more information at [email protected] or find their specifications in our photoelectric sensors product page > RP74. Mike Lee, PhD. 2019-05-13
This is NOT a new product. We’ve had them since 2015, but we’ve barely told anyone about their existence. So it’s probably new to most people other than ourselves. They are a pair of straight M12 connectors. What is special about them? They are short. They measure in at 27mm while the original M12 connectors are about 41mm, and are available in the popular 3 and 4 pin configurations. Great for tight spaces. Contact us for more information! We have a new product! We have released a series of Hall Effect sensors for high frequency applications such as speed measurement and gear tooth detection. It will fall under our speed sensor family of products, denoted by /G at the end of FCS. Comes in M12 and M16 sizes. Mike Lee, PhD. 2018-11-21
The original fiber optics amplifier (FOS1) has been in our product lineup for over 15 years. In 2018 we created its replacement. The new FOS1 contains the same reliable electronics and the simple to use interface. Building upon these strengths, it is now powered with improved optics that results in about +20% SN in our testing, and a refined clamp providing better grip onto the fiber cable. Please contact us for more information. Mike Lee, PhD. 2018-11-08
March 2nd was the Lantern Festival, officially marking the end of the Lunar New Year celebration. I happened to be at our plant in Shenzhen. At this point in time a significant portion of our employees has returned from their vacation, and I could not think of a better way to mark this occasion than a barbecue. I found out that one of my colleagues, the gentleman on the upper right picture, used to be a grill chef. His food was awesome. Mike Lee 2018-03-05
